A.B. Simpson says, “Divine love loves that it may bless and do good. You ought to love not because it pleases you, but because it blesses them.” As we celebrate Valentine's Day, we celebrate those who are blessing others and doing good. In the village of Dogotalama, the Alliance Women were taught how to make bread. Their ingenuity in using metal roofing panels as molds, in building a brick oven, and in sharing the work load, has meant a blessing for this village that now has bread. May we celebrate this day loving well and blessing others.

What is the recipe for the bread. French baguettes? Is all the cooking done outside?

It is your basic french bread recipe, flour, salt, water, yeast, and a small bit of sugar. All the cooking is done outside.
