What is the stance of the CMA on the rapture of the church.
There are so many 'new' theories popping up,about this subject.
I am very muchso in need of substantially sound doctrine, backed by scripture, and would greatly appreciate CMA reference,...
Please?

The Statement of faith, https://www.cmallian...eliefs/doctrine, reads "The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent (32) and will be personal, visible, and premillennial.(33) This is the believer’s blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service"

However, I have had several friends who didn't believe in a premellinial rapture in C&MA churches, but that is not the official position of the Alliance, and is counter to my own beliefs, being inconsistent with 2Thess 2:8, 9: "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders," The only one who can hinder the wicked one (antichrist) is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit indwells believers, the church, and can't be "taken out of the way" without taking the church out of the way. " "Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his", Romans 8:9. Therefore, believer do not have to worry about the antichrist or taking on the mark of the beast, because they won't be here.

The church is never mentioned again after the lukewarm church, the seventh church of Revelation. I believe we live in that time now, but it will soon end.

However, I am speaking for myself there, not the C&MA. Their position is clearly stated in the Statement of Faith

I don't consider when Christ returns as a vitally important issue, though of course rightly dividing the Word of Truth IS important. The real issue is that when Christ does return, He finds us serving Him faithfully and doing His will.

Mr Rice, regarding you statement,  "Therefore, believer do not have to worry about the antichrist or taking on the mark of the beast, because they won't be here."

I am not intending to nit pick on the idea of "worry" but I do believe that a good bit of the New Testament was written as a warning against false teachers and deception.

We all must be alert or we will be deceived, as the spirit of antichrist has been operating in the world since the writing of the NT Letters to the Churches, according to their content.

Just a thought concerning the deception that will be in the last days.

Matthew 24:24 For there will come up false Christs, and false prophets, who will do great signs and wonders; so that if possible even the saints might be tricked.

...and what John has to say about the antichrists.

1John_2:18  Little children, it is the last hour; and as you were given word that the Antichrist would come, so now a number of Antichrists have come to you; and by this we are certain that it is the last hour.
1John_2:22  Who is the liar but the person who denies that Jesus is the Christ ? This one is the antichrist: the person who denies the Father and the Son.
1John_4:3  And every spirit which does not say this is not from God: this is the spirit of Antichrist, of which you have had word; and it is in the world even now.
2John_1:7  Because a number of false teachers have gone out into the world, who do not give witness that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. Such a one is a false teacher and Antichrist.

antichrist - untrue anointed one; denies the Father and the Son.(Does not have a true intimate knowledge of Jesus Christ as the offspring, Son, of God the Father who was in heaven with the Father before He became a Human, Begotten, Son.) Nor do they understand the new birth deliverance from the bondage and power of the sin nature that rules in the world or a new birth experience that puts the sin nature to death and realizes the active, indwelling of the Spirit of Christ as True and only Lord of their lives..

I personally live every day to do the will of the Holy Spirit, not concerned with when I will see Him face to face, but concerned with hearing His voice and knowing His influence in my life. Rejecting all the demands, for control, from my senses in order to keep Jesus in the true position of Lord of my life.
