Today Andrew received a certificate of appreciation from the Burkina U.S. Embassy, Department of State, for his community liaison contributions. Involvement in the community is time consuming and volunteering as a liaison for the embassy has had its challenges. But today we realized that this was one of those unnoticed contributions that suddenly was noticed and appreciated. Working for the good of our communities and investing in the countries where we serve will bear fruit in ways we cannot imagine and sometimes bring unexpected recognition.
