After a strong national church is established, what is the role for International Workers? We asked that question of one of our district presidents and his answer was, "strategy". He clarified: help us to know how to reach our expanding city, help us to recognize where to plant churches and to organize our outreach efforts, help us to understand where the needs are greatest, help us in building schools and technical centers where people can learn practical skills, and help us in the training of church leaders to realize how to communicate the Gospel clearly and effectively to people of different ethnic groups.
As our church will soon celebrate 100 years, the needs for international workers continue to be great. We ourselves see the need for education and the cry of forgotten peoples, like those in the deaf community. As false prophets are making more and more of an inroad, our Bible schools need faculty with varied backgrounds and training that can ground church leaders in the Word of God. Thank you for your commitment to the Great Commission Fund that is helping the national church of Burkina to stand strong and to reach the last to be reached peoples.
