I know these are trying times and everyone has problems to deal with, but the beauty of this site is to tell and see how others who walk with the Lord are dealing with things. One of the main reasons for local churches is to gather and give support to those in need...and those who don`t think they need. Don`t know about where you are, but here in MS we are under a health dept order and can`t really hold church services.  We do have a few small group meetings but they are not the same as the whole Church Body meeting.

These times are tough but I have found that most learning and chances to show faith come in times of difficulty. "You learn more in the valley than you do on the mountaintop".  I have just been wondering how my friends on this site are doing and what has everyone been learning?

Your Brother in Christ,

Charlie

Hello Charles,

I know what you mean.  This forum was once a thriving community with many participants.  It's sad it's disappeared like it has.

These are trying times and I take it one day at a time.  I only teach Pilates now part time.  I'm retired except for that.  I am an online missionary with Global Media Outreach.  There are many around the globe (except Western countries) who are investigating Christ and seeking in these times.  I can definitely tell you that.  It is amazing how many people from the Middle East and Africa where most are highly Muslim dominated are asking questions.

We live in Northern Wyoming near Montana and we have very little in terms of any regulations. Our county has a total of 25 cases; 6 of them in one day last week.  Restaurants are open, bars open and even the movie theatre plays old movies. But they did halt the Sheridan WYO Rodeo that we have every year and much of the cowboy festivities like roping competitions, bull riding and street dances not taking place here.  The Farmer's market goes on each Saturday.  Churches meet, but families are to be six feet from others.  Singing banned?  Not here.  People in Wyoming are a breed apart and don't take kindly to excessive government intrusion, especially when there's no real rationale.  Not that I know.  Hardly anyone wears masks.  But, Walmart requires them starting on 7/20.  I don't know what is going on, but I believe there's an overarching nefarious tone and I don't believe the authorities since they've admitted lying.  Thinking of Bill Gates and Luciferase, etc. etc.  Bill Gates population reduction plan.  His patent on a vaccine tracking implant.   Look that up!

Probably not "DEEPER LIFE" topic  LOL.

Dan and I take it day to day and live up on the side of a mountain that is fairly remote.  We were in a small group bible study, but it disbanded after Covid hit.  The bible teacher's wife is a pediatrician and can't have people over in a group.  Sad.  There were only 9 of us!!

I feel tired of the whole thing.  I'm sort of over it.  But, the Lord knows what is going on and He is on His throne!  He will remain there.  We know that.

How have you been Charlie?  How is your wife doing?

Love,

Candice

Judi and I are doing well and just living slowly until things change. Hard to believe that 2020 is half over and as I look back over the first half....well it`s just kinda unreal. Our Church has begun services on Sunday mornings and men`s bible study on Wed mornings.

I have been praying Daniel`s prayer over the US and asking God to forgive us as individuals and to forgive our country for years of turning away from Him. People around here are hurting due to all the shutdowns and now our covid rate has begun to climb. Most of the ICU beds in our state are full, but not always due to covid.

When this disease breaks, Judi and I want to drive out to Wyoming, see some parks, and experience a part of the US i have never seen. Maybe we can get together for coffee in some quaint cafe and visit.

Stay safe and hang in there. I certainly don`t understand all that is happening but I do know who is in charge and He does have a plan for all of us.

Yours in Christ,Charlie

We were allowed to meet togeather with restrictions, but with our congregation being very small (26) and much older I am the average age (69). I have decided to stay home after attending for 3 weeks because the people don't think they have to mask up and cannot sing. Most churches in Ontario are not open. I was recording our Pastors' message and putting it on You Tube but he decided to stop that when we went back to having services.
