Praise Him! That's great news.

I would recommend simply starting with a book of the Bible and going through it with your youth group.

If these are kids that have already been attending your church, 1st and 2nd Timothy are great letters to start with.

One thing I have found that really seems to reach kids is to tie the OT prophecies and Scripture  to NT verses. For example, Mark 15:34 and Psalm 22:1. When they realize these same things were spoken or promised hundreds of years beforehand, it seems to really reach them.

Hope this helps some. In Christ, Charlie

I don't know if some structure would help. Sounds like you can decide when you want to meet - every week, once a month, or whatever.

I had experience working with a weekly youth group. We spent our time roughly like this:

- 10min - A game time for students to adjust to the environment, talk to each other and have fun

- Some quick announcements and a Scripture memory verse

- 10-15min - A worship time with on average 3 songs

- 20 min - A lesson on a topic or Bible series just like Charlie recommended above

- 15 min - A small group time so students can talk together about the lesson and pray - especially sweet if you have some adults who will learn the kids names and pour in to their lives.

God bless!!
