This morning we prayed for Debbie clouser and Dina Traore as they set out for Mali. I went about my work but suddenly felt I needed to post on facebook to pray for Debbie. As I was posting the request, I was so burdened to pray for her and commit her and Dina to the Lord. A few minutes later a call came from Debbie saying that one of the tires had completely shredded, swerving the vehicle, but she had managed to keep it on the road and come to a stop. Debbie said that a few minutes before this happened, Dina had an overwhelming feeling to begin praying for their trip and God's protection. What assurance for us to know that God is not only watching over us but prompting people to pray for us when we will most need it. Don't you love the verse: "Before you call to me I will answer you."

Amen!! Praise God that He knows what we need before we even ask Him, and that He hears our prayer before we have even verbalized it! This week saw many answers to prayer in our Bible study class -- some answers that we had hoped for, some answers even better than we could have hoped for, and some answers that were what we needed even though not what we thought we wanted. My weekly blog post was on God Answers Prayer!:

Missionaries have recounted that they were escorted and protected by angels exactly when they needed them, and exactly at the time prayer warriors back home felt a strong burden to pray for their protection.

So amazing the work of the Holy Spirit. Being in tune with God always makes us to response promtly at the time He need our services. A person in "rut' will not be sensitive 2 such a last minute call.
