A dear friend is facing a fire right now in Washington State. She may have to evacuate numerous horses, and other animals. Please please pray for her safety, and for her animals and home to be protected by God.

Thanks in advance and blessings!!

The person facing the fire is Betsy aka Chipped China who posts here on this board. She has many horses and other pets who are facing harm. In addition she is housing a homeless family. Thanks all for prayers!

Praying! Many of my colleagues here at the National Office were facing this just last month during the most destructive wildfire in Colorado history (one coworker lost his home; he and his wife were away on vacation and were unable to retrieve any of their personal belongings).

Lord, please send your rain to douse the fire in Washingston state and contain it quickly! Protect all the homes, property, people and animals in its path, including Betsy and her animals. May she not have to be evacuated. Amen!

Please keep us posted!

Thank you Julie!!! Will do! I heard about those horrible fires in Colorado; very tragic! I'm so very sorry to hear about your coworker; may God bless them with new provisions.

The fire is still approaching and is only 8% contained. Please continue to pray. The smoke is also a big issue. Thanks!

Ginger, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your prayers! I firmly believe in a God who answers prayer!!!

Here's the latest update (Chipped China-Betsy lives one mile from Parke Creek). http://www.wenatchee...south-and-west/

She can see those under evacuation advisory from her house. If the fire isn't stopped, she'll have to evacuate as well and soon!

Please pray all who are reading these posts. God is bigger, and He is able to rescue those who place their faith in Him!

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for posting the link Lori.

Praying for all of the workers and all people and animals affected by the fire. He gives us Himself through it all.

Psalms 138:6-8 NKJV Though the LORD is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar. (7) Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. (8) The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Lori, –thank you for your prayers.

Yes, believing in His might.

Zechariah 4:6 NKJV So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts.

–had an image of a long line of people passing buckets (like they did in days long ago). This image is representing all the prayers being prayed for the people dealing with this fire.

Latest update: Winds have picked up (they died down last night and there were cooler temperatures which slowed the fire). Please pray for God to still the winds again and to prevent dry lightening strikes. Thanks in advance for much coveted persistent prayers! God Bless you.

Our Father, we do cry out to You about all that is happening in relation to this fire and we ask that You contain and extinguish the fire. We ask for you to help each person and each animal who is being affected by this fire. Abba Father, the saints are asking You in Jesus name to meet the need of the people, the animals, and the land. You know all that is involved. O that you would quench our longing, vanquish anguish, refresh the fatigued, and all else that is affecting all who are and have been affected by this fire. LORD God Almighty, You can command the fire be extinguished, the wind be calm, for it to rain, for all the smoke be cleared and for all need be met. LORD we ask as little children and we believe. Abraham fended off the birds and when he slept You GOD did all to make the covenant. You God are the Promise Keeper. We are the promise taker. Grant each of us to know Your provisions experientially as individuals and as Your body. Please Abba Father, in Jesus name we ask and we thank you, amen.

Amen, amen Ginger! Awesome prayers! Abba Father, I join in agreement with these others in prayer! We know You have power and might, but it is often not seen when it is not requested. I say unequivocally that I place full trust in You, and I ask You to quench the fire through rain, or for You to smother it with Your unseen hand. Thank You Abba, in Yeshua's Name, amen.
