Dear Prayer Partners,

The papers have been submitted for the renewal of our certificate to operate in Mongolia. The inspectors came to our office twice when Dennis was not there (last Wednesday and today). Dennis is requested to appear before the immigration officials tomorrow, Wednesday (Oct. 20) at 1 PM and will be questioned. Pray for wisdom, for the right words to say, and that ultimately our certificate to operate will be approved.

Standing together in Him,

Dennis and Marilyn Maves

Here is the latest update from Dennis and Marilyn on this situation:

Thank you for praying!
The meeting with the immigration official went rather well. He was a little rough in the beginning and demanding. However, he cooled off as time went on and the meeting was ended in a cordial manner. When we left he said "You have been here a long time, since 1999 doing projects. So I am going to recommend you for approval when the committee meets next week." The final approval will come from a joint meeting of immigration officials. Pray that they will act with favor on our application for renewal. We will let you know when we get the final word.
Blessings,
Dennis
