The most amazing and divine event is the invasion of Christ when we , by faith, allow Him to invade our being. It is not as though he hold a gun to us . It is by that powerful mysterious love that we raise our hands and surrender. But at times we do not surrender all of our being, we hold some back. But only if we can surrender all - our heart, mind and soul to Him does He do such an amazing work in and then through us.
What love Christ has for us. But then He made us so as a great Father why would He not love us.
Christ's invasion

It saddens me when I ask believers if they have ever 'experienced' the filling with the Holy Spirit and they reply that they have taken Him 'by faith'. Believing is not receiving. Surely, the crisis that A B Simpson preached about was an experience that radically changed those who had received Him. Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones wrote that 'revival is nothing more than a lot of God's people being baptised in the Spirit at the same time'. Coming as I do, from Wales, often called the land of revival, my preaching and prayers have long been for believers to experience such.
