In troubled times...

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

Ezekiel 2:6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

HE IS RISEN, I like that statement because it is not a past tense it is present tense and Christ is risen every day to those who have just come to know Him

And He said to me(Ezekiel), Son of man, I am sending you

...to the sons of Israel, to the nations, the rebelling ones who have rebelled against Me. They and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this day. And the sons are stiff of face and hard of heart. I am sending you to them. And you shall say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah. And they, whether they will hear or whether they will forbear (for they are a rebellious house), yea, they shall know that a prophet has been among them.

Ezekiel 2:3-5

"Ezekiel 2:6 And thou(Ezekiel), son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house."

"Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Jehovah and depart from evil. Healing shall be to your navel and marrow to your bones.

Honor Jehovah with your substance, and with the first fruits of all your increase, and your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst with new wine.

My son, do not reject the chastening of Jehovah, and do not loathe His correction; for whom Jehovah loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son with whom he is pleased. Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding.

Proverbs 3:7-13

And, finally, be all of one mind, sympathetic, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly, not giving back evil for evil, or reviling against reviling; but, on the contrary, give blessing; knowing that you were called to this in order that you might inherit blessing. "For the one desiring to love life, and to see good days, let him restrain his tongue from evil, even his lips not to speak guile. Let him turn aside from evil, and let him do good. Let him seek peace, and pursue it; because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against any doing evil things." LXX-Psa. 33:13-17; MT-Psa. 34:12-16

And who is the one harming you if you become imitators of the good? But if you truly suffer because of righteousness, blessed are you. "But do not fear their fear, nor be disturbed. But sanctify" Isa. 8:12, 13 the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give an answer to everyone asking you a reason concerning the hope in you, with meekness and fear, having a good conscience, that while they speak against you as evildoers, they may be shamed, those falsely accusing your good behavior in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God wills it, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

1 Peter 3:8-17

Here is more of the encouragement that God gave to Ezekiel as he was being sent to God's stubborn and rebellious people, which he was commanded to preach to, who would not hear Ezekiel's words from God.

Please note that the encouragement of Ezekiel 2:6, was not to the hard hearted people, but to Ezekiel (one man), as he walked in obedience to the Words of God!!!

As you can read below, there was also a warning to the one man, Ezekiel, if he did not obey God and warn God's people of the consequences of their sin and rebellion, as He commanded!!

Ezekiel 3:15-27  Then I came to the exiles at Tel-abib, those dwelling by the river Chebar. And I sat there where they were sitting. I also dwelt there seven days, being benumbed among them.  16  And it happened at the end of the seven days, even it happened that the Word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

17  Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. And hear the Word of My mouth, and warn them from Me.  18  In My saying to the wicked, Dying you shall die; and you do not warn him, and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, he, the wicked, shall die in his iniquity. But I will require his blood at your hand.  19  And you, because you have warned the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his way, he, the wicked, shall die in his iniquity. But you have delivered your soul.

20  And when the righteous turns from his righteousness and does injustice, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die. Since you have not warned him, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered. But I will require his blood at your hand.

21  But you, because you warned him, the righteous, so that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, living he shall live because he is warned. And you have delivered your soul.

22  And the hand of Jehovah was on me there. And He said to me, Rise up, go forth into the plain, and I will speak with you there.  23  And I rose up and went forth into the plain. And, behold, there the glory of Jehovah was standing, like the glory which I saw by the river Chebar. And I fell on my face.  24  And the Spirit entered into me and stood me on my feet and spoke with me. And He said to me, Come, shut yourself within your house.

25  But you, son of man, behold, they shall put on you cords and shall bind you with them, and you shall not go out among them.  26  And I will make your tongue cling to your palate, and you shall be dumb. And there shall not be to them a reproving man. For they are a rebellious house.  27  But in My speaking with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah. He who hears, let him hear; and he forbearing, let him forbear. For they are a rebellious house.

The word of encouragement should be that Jesus Christ died on a cross so that we might be "delivered" (the definition of saved) from the sin within us and the power of the sin be broken that we might be born again with Jesus' Spirit truly living within us, as well as living through us. We should be able to say, "If you have seen me you have seen Jesus".

The false word is that Jesus died to "cover" (not remove) our sin; past, present, and future. That there is nothing that can keep us from going to heaven. That we are still in bondage to walk in obedience to the feelings and senses of the body rather than free to walk moment by moment in obedience to the Holy Spirit; which we are offered by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, our "Deliverer"!! (The definition of Savior!)

It is truly sad how many ways the Bible can be twisted if we pick and choose what we read and do not know intimately the "Spirit" of the entire Word of God; even the entire message of each letter and gospel of the New Testament, rather than just little pieces that are used to create false teachings and doctrines.

May God open the ears and the eyes of the spiritually blind who truly want to know Him!! The only way that can happen is if you remove all the influences of the world that God hates and sit at the feet of Jesus and the Word of God, experiencing the influence of the Divine, the free gift of God, and how it changes everything that you once were into a new man that truly looks like Jesus. You are bond to be like the influences that you feed on!!

Amplified Bible James 4:4  You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world's friend is being God's enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God.
