The surgeon said "it went perfectly"! Praise the Lord! I got home around 10 a.m. and was told to spend the day resting. I go back to the eye center tomorrow to have the bandage removed. Another neat thing: my anesthesiologist was a Christian, and at least one of the nurses was also. She even said that Jesus is the Great Physician. And when I told the surgeon I'd been praying for the surgery, he said he was, too. It was a very positive experience, and I am feeling fine (my left eye and the whole left side of my head is still numb, but that should wear off eventually). I am truly grateful for everyone's prayers! They definitely made a difference. Please continue to pray for a full recovery and complete restoration of my vision (it can take anywhere from one day to three months for vision to be completely restored after this type of surgery, and I am trusting God for complete and swift healing).

Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us.
We are pressured in every way but not crushed; we are perplexed but not in despair;
we are persecuted but not abandoned; we are struck down but not destroyed.
