Many of you have prayed for my mother-in-law and her health issues these past few months. As some of you know, she made an amazing turnaround after being near death in September. Yesterday she took a turn for the worst, but her suffering ended today. She is now dancing in heaven with Jesus. I am sure she ran into His arms when she saw Him. She had a major breathing crisis yesterday morning. The hospice team got it under control and made her very comfortable; she slept most of the day. We were told she was experiencing "terminal agitation" and could go very quickly. I called her daughter to prepare her.

This morning at 7 a.m. I gave Mom her meds, and she said she was feeling good. When my husband went down to her apartment to have coffee with her at 11 (this was their daily routine), she was gone; it looked like she died peacefully in her sleep. Thank you all for your support and prayers throughout this difficult journey. "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me."

Please pray for our family in the days and weeks ahead. Pray especially for our niece, who lost her grandmother today. It was our niece's 30th birthday, and she was going to call my mother-in-law two days ago to thank her for sending a birthday card but waited until today. I picked up Mom's phone and had to tell her the news. She was devastated. My niece is very far from the Lord and walking down a very dark path. Pray that God will use this to bring her back to Him (Mom used to try to talk to our niece about God, but she didn't want to hear about it).

Thanks for letting us know, Julie. I've prayed for her and you all through this time.

I'll be praying for you all, especially your niece and her spiritual needs. So sorry. Even when you're expecting this, there is such loss and sadness. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you and yours.

I want to live my life so that every morning
when I wake up Satan says, "Oh, no! She's awake!

I am sorry for the lost to your family, but glad to hear she is in Heaven. I am not good at dealing with this matter, not even in my personal life, but my heart goes out to you and your family.

Julie, I am so sorry for your loss. I will be praying for you, Alex and his family as you make the necessary arrangements concerning your mother in-law's passing. But take comfort in knowing that her spirit is with our wonderful Lord and Savior.

Asking the God of all comfort to be comforting your husband, you and each person moment by moment.

May the Lord to draw your niece to Himself, and minister His life and healing to her.

Thank you, Judy, for your kind offer and your prayers! We are so grateful she passed peacefully, as we just heard the winters are brutal for COPD patients (the dry air complicates breathing). She hated winter, especially in Colorado, so God mercifully took her just as the weather started to get bad.
