I am a newbie. I need prayers. I climb a high mountain.

I am honored to become a member with The Alliance.

 

The Alliance and I, I feel we share something in common. CM is my initial . . . and there's CM Alliance . . . It's  a coincidence, I know, but I feel connected and that I belong here.

 

I do presently have living challenges, but don't we all. So, I feel I am not alone with challenging situations. I keep the faith and always hope, and pray that the next day is better than the yester day.

 

I am not living in darkness. I have light both in the daytime and in the nighttime. There is light 24/7 and as I see the light we all are blessed with I know I will look at that as my guide to always smile on the inside and outside despite of anything and that helps to give me peace and comfort. As long as the light of my life exist and shine it gives me strength and courage too to step forward, move forward soundly. 

 

Although it really do seem so, that the mountain I climb appears too high to climb, I climb.

 

Can I have a prayer please? Thank you.

Praying that you will keep climbing and that you will remember that the Lord's arm is never to short to save, or to give a hand when we feel we can't take another step.

Thank you Joan. I will lean on the Lord as he will help me carry on and lighten my burden in my strength and belief in his guidance and divinity.

Cathy, I pray the Word of God for you (the same scriptures you might speak one day when you feel you need God's touch in these areas to overcome temptation):

2 Timothy 1:7  For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Lord, give Cathy your power, love, and self-discipline so that she may not fear or be timid. 

 

Ephesians 3: 16-19  16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

 

Father God, out of your glorious riches, strengthen Cathy with power through your Spirit in her inner being, so that Christ may dwell in her heart through faith.  And being rooted and established in your love, may Cathy have the power, together with all your holy people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is Jesus' love, an d to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that she may be fille dto the measure of all your fullness.

 

Matthew 4:4  Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

Abba Father, reveal to Cathy by your Holy Spirit that she does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from your mouth.

 

Mark 16

15He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

 

 

And Lord, you are not a man that you should lie.  Give Cathy the faith of a child that she has the authority given by Christ to do all the things He told the disciples they should do as she preaches the gospel with the accompanying signs you have determined.

 

I ask in Jesus's mighty name, amen and amen.
