Early Friday morning a fire broke out in the Alliance Center in Jerusalem. Two rooms in the basement sustained severe fire and smoke damage. Police and fire departments have begun a thorough investigation to find the cause of the fire.

There was a short-term work team from the Hidden Creek Alliance Church (Washington) in the building at the time but all were able to evacuate safely when they smelled the smoke.

Please pray for our Alliance workers in Israel who will need to work with authorities to determine causes as well as oversee needed repairs to the building.

Thank you for praying for The Alliance Center in Jerusalem and the team from Hidden Creek. We have received word that 7 of the 9 members of our team are back in their rooms at the Center, while 2 of them are staying as guests at the home of one of the International Workers. Their belongings were safe, although smoky. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Pray for the team members as they process through what happened and how God saved them all (they were asleep when the fire started).
