The view from 10,000 feet

Well, here we go. Yet another start to a blog experience that will hopefully help me to get my mind around the world web content and strategy. If anyone is interested, we will embark on the whole concept of content driven web strategy and design as it relates to several tiers of audience engagement.

Or better said, getting through and engaging with all y'all that visit the Alliance website.

The concept of if-you-build-it-they-will-come has pretty much gone the way of the do-do bird. (Wait, did I spell that right? Any way...) In order to have an effective web experience one must have a reason to return to a web site.

And the real gem in all of this is in order to make a site return-able (not like at the customer service counter in a department store or K-mart) I need to know what you might find useful on the website. Kapeish? (I think the spelling is wrong again.)

So there you have it. The beginning.

Improving this website?

For some reason I find it ALOT harder following and keeping tracks of different threads here than other forums. Thats my only complaint (so far lol) :-)

I just want to say 'Happy Birthday" to you and your project. 7 years and a few days later and still going strong.

From my 'web ignorant' view I commend you, and all your personal touches, that I notice, as browse through different areas, that I am lead to, from time to time.

The extent of the ministry that this site reaches is mind boggling!

It was a thrill to me, the other day, when a silent observer became a member just to address one of the forums that I felt to write; Especially in light of the number of views there had been with little response.

I personally want to say 'Thank You' for all your efforts!!

May God continue to bless all that you do for Him!
