Please don’t take this post offensive or insulting. I don’t mean either. I was just wondering if anyone know of a more active Christian discussion forum / site. This one is great with wonderful people, but I am more active and this site is very inactive mostly. I enjoy engaging fellow Christians in conversation about the faith and such when my free time allows me. I see very little activities on here most of the time. Just wondering if anyone new of someplace more active. So hope no one takes this offensively. Not meant that way.

Christopher, Maybe what you are looking for isn`t a forum or electronic site at all. Maybe it is a local Bible study group. Several of us meet every Wed morning(early) and have a study of subjects of interest to us, and I find the time there to be well spent. If there isn`t a small group you can identify close to you then maybe you could start one.

In Christ,

Charlie

I have come to rely on internet forum too much.  I am an anti-social person (social anxiety disorder???) and it's easy for me to engage folks on a forum like this rather than jump in my car and drive to a one hour meeting and talk about similar things with actual, ......people.......in person.  And the best way for me to conquer this anti-social thing is to confront it headlong and go to those small Bible groups whether I want to or not.

Besides......these type forums are abit fickle.  During one month.....one cannot say ANYTHING wrong and everyone loves his posts and "oh, you are SO transparant...blah blah blah".   And then......you get dropped like a hot tater if you have a few dry weeks and don't post anything inspirational.  It then gets to where hardly anyone will respond to one's posts at all.  From feast to famine. All of this internet stuff has made us less dependent on one another (in a personal way).  I recall the little elderly church ladies calling the internet "that devil-box".  Who knows.  They may have been right to a point.  I mean......the GOOD thing is:  I have found alot of good ole classic Christian reading on the internet. But I have also used the internet for my "Christian fellowshipping" and that is where it is lacking. JMO
